Substance Abuse: Value Empathy
At S.A.V.E., we promote awareness, education, and engagement, and we strive to help individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to prevent drug abuse and make healthy choices.
We chose the acronym S.A.V.E. for many reasons. We believe that substance abuse is a serious and growing problem that affects individuals and communities of all backgrounds. We wanted a name that reflected our commitment to addressing this problem, while also promoting a positive message.
Our third word, "value" in our acronym represents our belief in the worth of every person. By valuing yourself and others, we can build stronger and healthier communities.
Finally, the word "empathy" in our acronym helps us understand each other and support one another, allowing us to create a safer, and healthier community for everyone.
